GUA SHA AFTERCARE
Please follow these aftercare guidelines to support your body and get the best results from your Gua Sha session.
What to Expect
It is normal to experience:

Redness or small red/purple marks called “Sha”

Mild tenderness in the treated area

A feeling of warmth or relaxation
These marks are part of the healing process and usually fade within 2–5 days.
What To Do After Treatment
Drink Plenty of Water
Hydration helps your body flush toxins and supports circulation.
Keep the Area Warm
Protect the treated area from cold wind and keep muscles warm.
Gentle Movement
Light stretching or walking can help improve circulation.
Rest if Needed
Your body may feel relaxed or slightly tired. Allow time for recovery.
What To Avoid (For 24–48 Hours)

Very hot showers, baths, or saunas

Intense exercise

Alcohol
-
Exposure to cold wind or air conditioning

Tight clothing over the treated area
When to Contact Your Practitioner
Please get in touch if you experience:

Bruising lasting longer than 7 days

Unusual swelling or pain

Any concerns following your treatment
